Wildlife garden, Kings Langley, near Hemel Hempstead

Our clients had lived in Switzerland and loved the natural meadows and streams of the area. The Garden Company’s brief was to create a wildlife garden that would remind them of their time abroad but would sit unobtrusively with a brick and flint house in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire. We created a series of curved paths meandering around a central meadow with a stream which led to a natural pond. The paths lead to a bespoke timber framed glass garden room creating a tranquil escape. Many native and non-native plants were selected to attract pollinating insects such as bees and butterflies.
